Beginning

We had the first circle of prayers on March 12th, right after the disaster happened.
(Please see a copy of the original e-mail below.)
This note quickly reached many people around the world.
Beyond nationality, religions, and borders, we prayed for the people of Japan together as one.
Then we had requests that we should continue this prayer.

Subject: Japan earthquake and tunami -We need your support-

Dear all:

Today, March 12 at 11:00pm Eastern standard time (8:00pm Pacific standard time. Sunday 13 at 1:00pm Japan standard time), my friends and I will be praying for the earthquake victims and survivors.
We ask you to join us in this circle of prayer.
It is my hope that as each of our individual prayers join together as one, it will become a show of support for the people of Japan, and others affected by the tragedy.

There are so many people who already have suffered or died. Their bodies are still buried, and cannot be retrieved.
There are many people who have lost their families and they are now in a deep sadness.
There are still many people who are waiting to be rescued under the debris, losing time.
Among them, there are many children, left without anyone to protect them.
Many people in Japan and from all over the world are now trying to find any way to help, perhaps a simple prayer could be a good start.
Please join us pray for those people. …Today at 11:00pm Eastern time.

Please feel free to forward this e-mail to your friends.

Arigato (Thank you),

Kokoro
